5 Digital Artists and Animators I Admire

Greetings, friends and strangers, to my weird blog where I post nonsense about the things I do! Woohoo!

Every artist starts somewhere, and most were inspired by one or more artists from somewhere. These are some of the artists which inspired me to start digital drawing myself! I am only mentioning 5 artists for this post because if I did all it would get way too loooonnnggg! By the way, a lot of these are cat animators... But when I got into the Warrior Cats series I found an entire animation community dedicated to that! So if it wasn't for Warriors, who knows what I'd be doing now! 🤔

#1 Louxie

She is an amazing artist and animator; everything she draws or animates has so much detail! She is well known on YouTube for her OC (Original Character) Crowsong! But the cat in the picture is another OC, Magpiewing. I have chosen 2 animations she has done in the past few months to show you. The first one ("Like Ships") is more in a PMV style (Picture Music Video). The second one ("You're Gonna Go Far, Kid") is an AMV (Animated Music Video).

#2  Gray Pillow!

Their art is so cute! There is so much detail; they put so much effort into their wonderful art. Their style is adorable with the big eyes and the expressions, you can literally tell what the cat is feeling! I do not think they animate, because I haven't found anything, so I just added some of my favorite pictures from her. Though it was almost impossible to pick...

  

#3 Asha Pheadra

 What I admire most is that Asha Phaedra's animations are so smooth! It was actually hard to find a picture since she mostly does animations. Her art style is definitely very unique!

 Right now she is working on an animated series called Load Aim Burn. I will admit, I am excited for it to come out! She also worked in a lot of my favorite MAPs (Multi Animator Projects). Again, I have chosen two memes she did. The first one, her most recent, is "Watercolor Eyes." The second one is "Didn't Come to Play."

#4 Kaida Lynch (Animations) / (Little Dragon Studios)

Kaida is one of the best 3D animators out there! She makes 3D dragon and cat animations. She originally wanted to make a Warrior Cats: Into the Wild series, but one of the owners of the Warriors franchise asked them not to. But they did let keep the first episode posted! She and her team intend to make other series at some point. A few months back, Kaida and her family made a Roblox game about frogs! 🐸 I've played the game and the models are so cute! Anyway, here are the animations I chose from her. The first one is part of a little series Kaida and her team where making, showcasing different parts of the territory they had modeled, narrated by Firepaw and his friends (characters from the 1st arc of the book series)! The second is a commission she did for multiple people.

#5 Paardjee

Paardjee's style is unique and super pretty! Her character designs are definitely a highlight. I do wonder how she manages to animate such complicated designs though! She has been drawing for over ten years and now is trying animation. These are my chosen memes from her...

BUT there is one more... He isn't one of those animators you just find on YouTube. This guy is actually the artist for the Warrior Cats Mangas! His name is James L. Barry, and He is definitely one of my first and biggest inspirations! Here is some of his art...
